As a small-business owner, I utilize various channels to communicate effectively with current customers, growers of similarly sized farms, and potential clients. I continue to adapt and update in order to more strategically communicate.

Website
My website is my main sales outlet. Through my website, which I created and maintain, I advertise products, take orders, create invoices, communicate with customers, and more. I optimize my website for searchability and continue to learn more about streamlining and simplifying the site.

With my Instagram account, I utilize a combination of posts (carousel and single), reels, and stories. With this communication device, I reach a wide variety of local potential and current customers, fellow growers, and people around the world who love flowers. I utilize videos and photos that I take to communicate a story of flowers through this tool. I have 2,500+ followers. I prefer to grow local followers who may become customers.

Newsletter
My newsletter is the main way I communicate with current customers or people who may be interested in what I sell. I try to always tell a story and make growing flowers as relatable as possible.

I utilize my Facebook account to reach an older demographic. It is linked to my Instagram account and comes in handy for Messenger.

Blog
Posting to my blog became a way to effectively communicate with other hobby gardeners and help share the information I had learned. My blog posts were helpful at the start of my business and for those that prefer a longer format.
